Blue Haven Hotel - style and luxury... |
|
|
Hollywood stars like Robert Mitchum and Rita Hayworth have visited the
historic Blue Haven Hotel since the 1940's. The majestic hotel was once considered
as one of the leading
hotels in the Caribbean and has been the film location of several movies. The hotel
has now re-opened after an extensive restoration programme combining the tradition
of the old days with modern facilities. Its skillfully planned architecture
pays special attention to the surrounding beauty of Tobago...

The location... |
|
The resort hotel is located on the
southern shore of Tobago, gracefully positioned on a 15 acre parcel
of land surrounded on three sides by the sea. It has a lovely residential
neighbourhood just outside of Scarborough and is about 20 minutes away from the
airport. You walk into the hotel through the old existing archway and make
your way to the impressive Octagon with its unusual high royal blue
ceiling with white beams. While
looking at the beautiful secluded beach below, the
swaying palm trees and the open sea, you can sip a chilled tropical fruit or rum punch as
you check in...
Here you can see the Blue Haven Hotel on our map of Tobago...
